Spruced Up began with two women with “Type A personalities” who shared a love for leadership and a passion for organization. As former coworkers and managers responsible for all aspects of organizing and ordering, we recognized our unique talent and wanted to share our gift with the community. We’ve combined our strong project management skills and years of experience to start a company dedicated to helping others find freedom, clarity, and peace through organization.

At Spruced Up, our mission is to empower our clients to reclaim their spaces through personalized organizational solutions. We believe that by optimizing flow, maximizing space, alleviating stress, and fostering a sense of calm and order, we can help individuals lead happier, more fulfilling lives.

Meet Julie and Monica, the two organizing gurus behind Spruced Up.
Julie Clifford
Julie’s experience in organization began during her time in operational leadership and management roles for renowned retail spaces such as White House Black Market, J. Crew, and Bath & Body Works. Tasked with overseeing organizing and inventory, Julie developed systems and tactics that seamlessly merged beauty with functionality. Her knack for creating visually appealing yet practical solutions caught the attention of friends and family, who were always asking “How do you stay so organized?” and even asking her to organize their spaces. Recognizing her unique talent, Julie found her passion for organization, realizing its impact on her mental health and overall quality of life.
Monica Robert
With a background in space optimization, Monica brings a wealth of experience from her 10 years at the Container Store, where she crafted custom solutions for every organizational challenge imaginable. Known for her ability to assess a space and intuitively see its ideal layout, Monica specializes in combining function with visual appeal. She thrives on the satisfaction of seeing how staying organized not only saves time but also creates a clear and focused mindset.
Our Service Areas
Spruced Up proudly serves clients within a 50-mile radius of Cumberland Foreside, Maine. Travel outside this area may include a travel fee.
Please note: We currently do not service locations in New Hampshire.
